    Sand Ball

We ran outside screaming, filled with exhilaration as our fist full day of vacation had just began. After two full days of driving, I felt excited to finally be in Hilton Head, South Carolina. I could smell the salt of the ocean, and could hear the rush of the waves.

"VACATION!!! VACATION!!! VACATION!!!" We all chanted. I was in South Csrolina with my friends Emma, Eric, and Ryan. They groaned as our mothers tried to rub sunblock on us from head to toe.

All of the kids, including me, ran into the water. We sat down in the shallow end and smiled. We all knew what was gonna happen next.

"SAND FIGHT!" Eric yelled. Sand was flying though the air as we pelted them at, not only us, but at random strangers too. Emma threw a curveball at a small boy, and got pelted hard right back. I threw one at a girl in her teens, and as a result, I got a face full of sand. Eric threw a sand ball right at a young toddler, and dodged the comebacks.

"How's that for a little sand ball, SUCKAH!" He exclaimed. Ryan attacked a young girl about three years younger than him with sand. The next thing we knew, she was in the water.

"I think we went a little overboard..." I told the group. The kids were speechless, and we all felt sympathy for the young girl.

"HYAH!" The girl hurled three sand balls at the kids. They fell flat. It was up to me. I dodged the first few, but I was no match for her. I grabbed a handful of sand and threw it at her, and she got hit, and she fell face - down in the water. AGAIN.

"Girl, I'm not falling for that this time." I assured her. When she got out of the water, she was hysterically crying.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" She screamed. The lifeguard came into the water followed by a man that I thought must be her father.

"What did you do to my daughter?!" The man screamed.

     "I-I-I," I stuttered.

"She looks like she's been hurt pretty bad. Excuse me, do you know what happened to -" The lifeguard paused.

     "-Mandy." The father continued.

     "Well?" The lifeguard asked.

Ryan interrupted. "She started to dislodge sand balls at us and we fell into the water, so that she didn't have to end up with the same results, my friend here, Bianca, threw one at her back. It's not her fault Mandy tripped."

"Yes, I believe that is so. But I don't think that's why she's crying."

"She's been hit before, so I wouldn't think this one wouldn't have been any harder." Emma pointed out.

"Maybe she got hurt in the water." I told them. Everyone glanced at me.

     "What?" I asked.

     "That's it!" The lifeguard exclaimed.

"She must've been stung by a jellyfish." Eric said.

They took Mandy to the doctor's office after the whole trauma attack was over.

"Young lady, I think I owe you an apology. I jumped right off the bat that you hurt her, just because you were closest to the victim." Many's father said.

"It's fine... When is Mandy coming back from the doctor's office?" I asked.

"She's actually already in the apartment." Mandy's father said.

"She can come to ice cream with us if she wants to! We're going in about ten minutes."

     "Thanks, I'll go get her."

The whole rest of the vacation, we had a blast spending time with Mandy. Even though she's still scared of jellyfish, Mandy's in for and all out sand ball war!

You had some problems with COPS and some dialouge

Some COPS errors. Also the plot was kind of confusing. Why would you throw sand at little kids?
