Leticia and Her Stitches

One day, there was a girl named Leticia Jones. She was an average twelve year old girl who lived in the state of New Jersey with her older brother, younger sister, and her parents, but her only problem was that she had stitches on her forehead, that stood out a lot. That's the only reason why people in her school make fun of her. She remembers every second of that accident.

It was when she was seven years old when she was hiking at one of the Appalachian trails. She found a huge rock that was even taller than her older brother who is almost six feet tall. His name was Jason. Leticia somehow climbed up to the very top of the rock which was a very narrow top. Even her parents told her not to because it is dangerous, she didn't follow their directions. After Leticia's parents took a picture, Leticia was trying to get down while her Mom was helping Leticia. Then, her Mom noticed that her sweater fell on the ground. While she bent down to get her sweater, Leticia started to go down the rock. That was the time the incident happened. For a second, Leticia's Mom was fiddling with her hand bag. Then peeked Leticia's favorite snack: Jolly Ranchers. Leticia went grabbing for them at that exact second. She forgot that she was on a colossal rock, so she went falling down and down from her head as her family came running towards her. BOOM! Leticia was really injured. Her head was bleeding badly like her head has exploded. After her Dad called the ambulance, Leticia was crying more than anytime she has cried. The ambulance reached the hospital. Leticia was sent to the emergency room and later at the surgery room. The doctor told her parents that Leticia needed to get stitches on her forehead since it got a deep cut. After a few hours, Leticia was laying on the bed. Feeling how bad she was, not following her parents' directions exactly how she feels right now, as a twelve year old girl.

"'Morning Dad!", Leticia wakes up to eat breakfast and go to school, which she hates.

     "Good Morning!"

"Where's Mom?", she asks wondering why.

"Oh, she went to work early today. She said she has some kinda meeting or somethin'", her fourteen year old brother, Jason replies instead of her Dad.

"Oh", she says while she finishes up her cereal.

She finishes eating and she runs back upstairs to her own room to see if she looks fine and to get her things for school.

When she sees her long stitches on her forehead, she glares at it and says, "You!! Why was I that dumb to fall of a big rock??", and stares at her stitches again. "Well, here comes another exciting day."

Leticia walks downstairs to go to her bus stop with her brother.

"Have a good day kids!", their Dad waves to them wishing for a great day.

     "Bye!"

     "Bye, Dad!"

Once, Leticia and her family got into a decision on whether Leticia should go to private school or normal school that normal students go to. Leticia wanted to go to private school, more than normal school. There was only one reason. She hated being bullied from other people, but her parents didn't really understand what was going on, and they wanted their child to have friends to support each other. Her Dad said it also costs more money to go to private school, so they just chose for Leticia to go to normal school and let her try to make friends that could stand up for her to stop the bullying. It was a difficult choice to make.

The second Leticia got on the bus, everyone in her grade started shouting, "Stitch-head! Stitch-head! Stitch-head!".

Leticia is used to that. It gets worse during school while the teachers are not around. Leticia keeps telling her teachers, but they never believe her just because they don't see anybody bullying her during the day. She is always alone with no friends. Every single day, Leticia is disappointed with her stitches. She is always forced to go to school by her parents. Can she make a friend and succeed going to school until she graduates? Or will she give up??

Your title was very creative. I think it matched the story very well. You used some punctuation errors, so see if you can go back in the story to find them. You used a lot of detail which made the story so much better!
