Trembling with Fear 

         Arthur is shocked! How could he possibly jump a twenty foot dive board, when he was only eight years old! Arthur was adventurous, and he loved taking dares from his friend, Freddy. He went to the pool with Freddy on one Friday, and that was when he was dared and determined to jump off the high dive. "Arthur, how about you try to jump off the high dive. Freddy said.  

                   That was where the big kids, like who were at least eleven, jumped off. "Alright Freddy, but then you owe me a triple choclate fudge ice cream." Arthur answered.

                  "You've got a deal." Freddy replied. It would be a world record for him. He was climbing on the steps, and looking at how high he got with each step he took. On the board, Arthur was trembling with fear.The view was like on the top of a roller coaster. What could possibly happen to him, he kept on saying to himself. Finally, Arthur calmed dowm, and he was ready to accomplish his mission. He was standing on the edge of the board.1! 2! 3! Go! Arthur jumped off like a rocket, and then...Kabloosh! He had a wonderful expeirence, swimming through the great colors of the water. It felt as if he was in an ocean as an explorer. When Arthur took out his face from the water, everyone gave him a great round of applause. He was smiling, and knew what he had to do next. He needed to go to Freddy, so he could get his ice cream from the bet.
