Dear manager of Universal Pictures,

     I am Kieran Corus, a student at Bedminster School.

My class and I watched your movie,Island of the Blue Dolphins.Our class read the book also. We compared the book to themovie, and I have some suggestions.You guys missed a couple of important scenes.One example is when Karana and Rontu werebeing attacked by the devilfish(a large octopus).Rontu was pulled in and nearly

drowned.Karana and Rontu almost didn't survive.That is why I thought it was important to include this.

Another example is the tsunami and the earthquake.This was important because Karana almost died!Another reason is because her father,Chief Chowig, told her that all of this would happen if she made weapons. This is a very very big action scene that should have been included. After this happened, Rontu-aru was on the ground, but survived. This was an important scene to include.

     One more important scene you guys missed is when these two sea elephants fought. This was important because Karana was running away and hurt her leg.
