The Boys Get Even

Have you ever noticed that girls can get away with anything? It seems that if boys do just one little thing, Wham! they’re in trouble, but girls can get away with murder.

Last summer at camp for example there was a big food fight. Okay, maybe the boys started it, but the girls were throwing chocolate pudding and dinner rolls, just like everybody else, but guess who got in trouble?

When we were dragged into the camp office, Mrs. Jenkins, the camp director, demanded an explanation. We were all too scared to even talk.

Finally, our counselor Phil said "I guess boys will be boys."

But Mrs. Jenkins replied "Boys should be gentlemen."

That night, she made us sweep and mop the whole dining hall, and even wash the windows. As we worked and sweated until midnight, we vowed to get revenge on the girls for sticking us with the punishment.

Our chance came that very next day.

That day, we were at the lunch table eating, and my friend whispered in my ear and said

"Hey Johnny, what are we gonna do?"

"We are gonna glue our selves to the chairs, and say we saw the girls with glue before bed, and they were up early anyway."

     "That's perfect!" said Ryan.

"Shhhh!" Said Noah. "We can't get too loud."

When Mrs. Jenkins came down she yelled "Why are you stuck to your chairs!?"

"We don't know, but when we went to bed, we saw the girls before bed with glue, and they were up early." I said.

"I see." Mrs. Jenkins said rubbing here chin.

"Hi everyone!" said all the girls at the same time. "Ha ha ha! Why are you guys stuck to your chairs!?"

     "You tell us." said Ryan.

Mrs. Jenkins and everyone else stared at the girls. "I am calling all of your parents and sending you home."

"But..." one of the girls said.

"I don't wan't to here it. You are all kicked out of this camp!"

They all left. That went farther than we thought. I mean, we always wanted them kicked out, but that is definitely not what we were going for. We thought it would be something like no showers for a week or something. But at the end, it was pretty fun without the girls here. We could play football without the girls kicking us off the field to play soccer. And now the walls aren't filled with pink posters or wands and junk like that. After that, everything seemed peaceful.

Your story was very interesting. I don't think I would have glued my self to a chair just to get people in trouble but I'm not a boy so what do I know. You had one little spelling mistake I highlighted it with light blue. Otherwise I think the story was pretty entertaining.
